A hypothesis is formulated on the basis of certain observations, data collection, compilation of published literature, and /or compilation of results of survey based on questionnaire or interviews etc. This information is compiled and then inference are drawn from these compilation. Putting together of facts may or may not lead to some sort of specific inference, which can be framed up in the form of a hypothesis. Further confirmation of the hypothesis on the basis of experimental observations or through other sources is required for upgrading the hypothesis to a theory or principle or law.

It's simply a question that you need to prove or disprove involving a controlled experiment. you should have two groups a controlled gp and an experimental gp. the experimental gp you will manipulate to see if what your trying to cause changes a result. this will or will not support your hypothesis of the question you raise as your hypothesis. results will either be non supportive, causal, or significant. in your final sentence say if the hypothesis was supported or not.

good luck

It's a theory, you come up with based on certain evidence you find or believe in, but you have to prove whether it was true or not. Eg My hypothesis is that it only rains in March. To prove this , I would have to investigate if this was true using weather observation, quota for rain in march annually, also if othe weather patterns occur in March. From my research I would draw my conclusion. Also to take into consider the other months and the seasons.
