Has anyone here used the high beam product by Benefit? I recently bought it and when I use it it does not look right. I don't wear foundation so I can't mix it in. I wear powder only. When I use high beam it looks cakey and not smoothe? So I tried to use it underneath my powder and there was no point of putting it on because the high beam didn't show anymore? Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I, too, tried High Beam and wasn't satisfied. I don't need foudation other than Bare Minerals powder, and the Benefit High Beam failed miserably with it. I returned it, getting Moon Beam, which I like better, but still don't have much of a need for it. I highly encourage you to return it for a store credit if your skin is anything like mine. If you want to consider another Benefit product for exchange, I *highly* reccommend Benetint under the power. My husband says I look like I'm always happy when I apply it to the apples of my cheeks under my mineral powder, and it makes my lips look sexy and natural.

Just my $0.02, as I found this product to be useless.

I use high beam and it looks great. The problem is that powder, high beam works best with foundation. Covering the liquid illuminator with powder will only take away from the highlighting effects. If you are going to use this product I recommend using it alone with moisturizer or tinted moist, or liquid foundation. Otherwise your just cheating yourself. : )
