No you will never see Lebron James in a dunk contest because he is more of a power dunker than a creative dunker. He may can jump high but he's no Vince Carter, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan or any other good dunker. Lebron can only dunk on people and do that one handed power dunk that he always does.

I'm sorry, but it's NOT going to happen. LeBron James can command over 100 million dollars in endorsement deals. If he enters a dunk contest and loses to say a 5'8" bench player like Nate Robinson, he will lose a LOT of respect and credibility in the eyes of the fans. That loss of respect could mean that he loses out on tens of millions of dollars in endorsements. If he wins, then he'll only win $25,000.
There is no reason for him to enter and every (financial) reason for him to stay out of it. This is why Kobe, Vince and every other top player decline that invitation.

No, he is not a high fly act like Kobe or MJ. He is more the Malone type player, strong and fast. Anyway, if he did he probably wouldn't win unless he had no real competition. Did you see the last Dunk contest? What else is there to do except a 720.. I don't think anyone in the NBA can do it, maybe Kobe or T-mac!
