Honey, he's scared. He's afraid to hope for this baby, and afraid to lose it too. He's afraid if he acts too happy, you will get your hopes up and he doesn't want you to get hurt either. This means you have a nice guy. Give him some space and drop hints that even though you are scared, you are excited and are going to take good care of yourself and be hopeful. My hubby says be sure not to corner him and call him on his fears, let him have his space. Best wishes!

firstly i take it that as your both wanted a baby, no contraceptive was used so thats one reason he shouldnt be upset although on the other hand, and i know from experience, he was probably so excited and happy the last time and then you had the miscarriage, that he is probably deep down a bit scared of showing any feeelings now as he may think you may miscarry again. he will eventually come round and all will be well.

Maybe he has worries in his work or some other part of his life.
Maybe he's afraid that this pregnancy may end with another miscarriage and he's afraid to hope for it to end successfully.
Try talking to him about it when he seems to be feeling a little better. It he doesn't want to talk yet, don't push it.

He probably is estactic about the idea of having a kid, but is not able to handle another loss of life. And the more it happens the more there is a danger to you as well. So I hope for you family's sake that everything turns out OK.

To me, it sounds like he's afraid of giving his hopes up again. A miscarriage is hard on both partners. Just give him time, he'll come around :)
Congrats and Good luck!

it just means that he is probably scared to lose another baby, have him at the dr. appointments as much as possible so he can hear for his self that the baby is ok. you just got to give him some time and encouragement and he will come around as long as there are no complications

Maybe, it means that he was away on business during the time that he would have had to be there in order to have conceived the child, or not.
