Example: If a man isolated from life, on an island, without knowing language, the powers of technology, etc., just the instinct to survive; do you actually think if another man made contact or tried to approach the isolated man, there would be peace?

We are born with the dual nature of good and evil. We make choices. Have you met anyone yet who is either all good or all evil? We are mixtures.

I don't think so. You were correct to mention the instinct to survive. But it's not just an instinct to survive as an individual, it's an instinct to survive as a whole species. The instinct to reproduce is one obvious example. The instinct to cooperate and make friends with other humans is another. This instinct for species survival is what's allowed humanity to survive, if everyone was born with a desire to kill or harm others on sight, humanity wouldn't have lasted very long.

I don't believe humans are born evil. I believe we are born into a world where evil is so predominantly visible that we don't see the hidden goodness. We must strive to find the goodness.
God gave us free will to choose good or evil. Adam and Eve's sin was a concious choice, IMO.

Yes, I think so. And I think that we always find excuses that say it's not our fault. But it always is.
It's our animal part. It's that part of the animal who eats his babies, the animal part who can start any time, against anyone. I'm a little afraid of people. I want to be good, and I act good. But inside me, I know there is this part which I won't let out. But I feel it sometimes.

Great question... a Star deserving one!!
We take to evil because of our desires when they cross the threshold of basic needs. When born, we do not have such desires.... this type of desires develops in us as we grow in the society.
The pointed question you have asked about a person growing outside the society is really a marvelous one giving great insights as one thinks over. It appears to me that such a person would not acquire those types of desires that force us to commit evil acts.

i dont believe so. we are born with a sin nature, but that nature doesnt define evil itself...it means we are born with the capacity to make mistakes in life and our humanity gurantees that we continually fall short of any glorified perfection. for example, no one teaches a toddler to lie, but he/she will as a form of self protection. a human characteristic that's a mistake or wrong but part of our nature.
evil (just as good) is a conscience choice. it is synonymous to right and wrong-absolutes. i choose to say or do good or evil just as i choose to do right or wrong. it is rarely accidental (except in cases where mental instability occurs).
there is only one situation (if you are a christian or a satanist) where there will ever be a case of evil incarnate ever in the history of mankind: the birth of the antichrist. which is predestined.

Nope! Are babies evil? No! When they go goo-goo-ga-ga are they saying something more sinister? Nope. What's evil, by the way. There are soooo many definitions. Well, some adult humans may be evil but I bet Adolf Hitler was cute and cuddly as a baby.

Its kinda interesting, Western philosophy tells us that we are born evil and we must learn to be good while Eastern philosophy believes that we are born good and must resist the temptations of evil.
