Spinning faster than it used to? Where are you getting this data?

However we are losing time in one respect. If you think about it a year is actually 365.26 days. Now sure we have leap year which accounts for the quarter of a day, but what about the .01 that is left over? You would think that this will have an impact sometime.

The world is spinning at the same rate as it always has in the course of human history. The days seem longer to me....maybe the perception is a function of sleep hours

Yes because it is spinning faster and yes again because I live in the Northern Hemisphere.The Earth tips towards the Sun and I start to warm up,the rays,much more direct...Tom Science 4

The earth isn't spinning swifter ! surely we are slowing down. And the guy who thinks our area rockets substitute the spinning of the earth could'nt be extra incorrect. it fairly is absurd ! Why do human beings answer questions they comprehend not something approximately ?!

jon j is correct that the earth is spinning slower. This is due to tidal influences of the moon. However the rate at which the rate at which the earth is slowing down is so small that we won't notice it in our lifetimes.

Well, hmmmm?
I know the days do seem shorter. And I also know that Jesus said in the scriptures that He would shorten the end days.Exactly how He would do that He didn't say. Interesting that others are noticing it though! Thanks, that's a real faith builder.

Think of it this way, when you are ten years old, a year is one tenth of your entire life's experience. When you are fifty years old, that same year represents one fiftieth of your life's experience. That's why as you get older time seems to go much faster.
