Yes, you can combine the drives. You need a program called Partition Magic. Many techs have this in their tool box, as this happens all the time.

However, this would not cause your drive to "go slow". Even is you combine the drives, it will still be slow! You need to address the cause.

1. Make sure you clear out spyware. Spybot is good. Microsoft Defender is free and give you full time protection.

2. Right click on your C: drive and turn off "indexing". Not needed and slows the PC per Microsoft.

3. Run MSCONFIG and stop any unnecessary programs from starting.

4. Run 'Disk Cleanup' (without compression) then Defrag. Only needed every 6 months or so.

See if this helps before you merge the drives.

1. save all your files
2. reformat your computer - this should fix the problem of the drives into 1 uniform drives

However, if your pc is slow, you might actually try the followings:
1. defragment your computer (just right click on the c drive and click on properties, then tools then defragment)
2. clean out some of your unnecessary softwares
3. reinstall windows w/o formating your pc to have it as though you just first installed windows xp

Hello,
you don't use the right words in your question but i think i understand it anyway.
you want to merge your hard disk partitions into one partition.
it's not impossible if you use the right utility.
here is a list of software to do the job:
http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Disk_Management/Partition/

The manual way is to backup your data and reformat your disk manually.

its not possible to undivide ur drives. To 'un-partition' them is impossible. Wat u can do is get a whole new drive and transfer ur data from the old drive to the new drive. Cheers!

Edit* There is a software called 'partition magic' which actually merges divided drives into the one. U can try the software. But i do not think it is free.

I did not think it was possible to have more than one "C" drive.
Each drive or partition has to have its own letter.
