Let's turn this question around. If animals are not supposed to eat us, at least from the human perspective, then why are we made of meat? The answer is quite simple. It's because that's the way our DNA was encoded - to produce bodies made of flesh, not vegetable matter. That doesn't mean it's an open invitation for other creatures to dine on us freely, any more than their being made of flesh is an open invitation for us to consume them.

Eating animal dates back to the ages of the cavemen! That's how our species have survived all this time.

and animals are not made out of meat! when they are being eaten it is called meat!
