My recovery cd is damaged and i need to restore my laptop to factory settings(re-format) but I cant. Any ideas? Thanks

all you need is the details of your laptop, the name, number etc. then go to the web site for that particular laptop. my partner got a recovery disc that way for his. . on there you should find contact numbers for help. it cost £26 last year. that was an advent laptop. the disc took 2 weeks to come

No worries. Users are able to re-format their systems by just using ur windows OS cd. before u reboot ur pc,put in ur windows OS cd and follow the instructions from the cd. Its really simple. GD luck.
