So I'm really into the series book thing. I need something to get into whilst I wait for The Deathly Hallows. I'm a girl and I'm into Magic and girls stuff. I've read a few Gossip Girl books and didn't dislike them but didn't love 'em.

One's I did love
Uglies
The Enchanted Forest Series
Harry Potter
Lord of the Rings
A Series of Unfortunate Events
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
so on and so forth

Have you ever read the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich? If you like comedy, these are really great books. They're not magic or anything nor are they all that girly, but there is a lot of girl things you might like and it's a mystery. These books are really easy to read and great for long road trips, flying, or just escape reading. The first one is One for the Money.

I can recommend:
The Disc world series, (kind of parody fantasy) Can't remember the author, sorry.
The Dark Sun series, (fantasy, but not with the elves and half lings you used to know) Troy Denning and others.
Spares /and or/ Only Forward /and or/ One of Us.(strange mix of sci-fi and fantasy, but they are as good as a book can get) Michael Marshall Smith

Give Visitors a try. It's by Bob Chapman, magic but of a different kind to Harry Potter, keeps you going until the last paragraph

Based on the books you listed, I think King Fortis the Brave would be perfect for you!

I would recommend Sharon Shinn's angel series. Its about this planet people have settled on that is inhabited by angels as well as people-they are not biblical type angels.
