Rockets beat them in the 2nd round
Mcgrady and Battier shut down Dirk as the rockets always seem to do (to bad they don't have Ryan "dirk stopper" Bowen anymore)
Alston holds his own with Terry and yao comes back and surprises everybody by growing a pair

Dirk gets in foul trouble or injured, cause Terry and Howard will be found out that they're not that good. It all lies in Dirks hands. And he's known to be a choker. I just can't rate the Mavs no matter how many games they win. The Suns, Spurs and Jazz are better than them. All of those teams match up with the Mavs either equally or better. Amare, Marion, Nash. Boozer, Williams, Kirilenko. Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, and they have Bowen.

I am so sick of Houston fans, How many times do the Mavs have to outscore T-Mac and the model rockets to prove to them that we are better....?
Anyway, the only way i really see them losing is to the Suns, the Suns have been the Mavs Kryptonite...they havent been able to keep up with the fast paced game that they play...and a series of it takes its toll on them. They now have the bench to take out the Manu Flop Factor, and they can stand up to the Pistons on the inside with Dirk Desgana and Damp....Croshere not so much...

I think they are better this and with what they learned during there final stint they just got a lot better. I don't think they choke. there is a chance that some teams knocks them of the western play off though like the spurs, the jazz, the rockets or the suns.
