Hi, I'm planning on visiting Tokyo later this year. Are there good reasonable nice clean Ryokans to stay in the tokyo area that are priced around the 90-100 U.S. dollars range for 3 people, or 45 per person per night?

If it's cheap the word is minshuku, not ryokan. Too bad about Miyakejima eh!

Hi, This is quite a huge and popular ryokan :
http://www.homeikan.com/

For 3 to a room, the average cost per night is Yen15750 for "authentic & traditional Japanese rooms" and Yen14175 for "ordinary & plain Japanese rooms". The prices may vary due to peak and off-peak seasons (cheapest:Yen12915). The website says 3 mins walk to Tokyo University and 15 mins walk to Tokyo Dome. The Honkan is designated as "Listed Tangible Cultural Properties" 2000. I have not stayed there myself but I have come across this ryokan quite often in online recommendations. Hope this helps!
