Wagner does have some antisemitic writings that were influential on the Nazis. Some also read an antisemitic subtext in his Ring Cycle (particularly the character of Albrecht). Wagner's writings are often contradictory--it would be hard to say that he was consistently anything, but if pressed, I would say he was most likely antisemitic and staunchly a German nationalist.

Probably, but if he was he would not have been different to a great many Germans of his time. Anti-semitism didn't start with Hitler - there had been pogroms over the centuries in Central Europe. Things were just never taken to the foul depths that they were under the Nazis

Yes, according to all the articles I have read on this topic, Wagner did not like Jewish people.

Yes he even authored a treatise on Jews in the arts.
