If you ever plan on having your own practice, business classes will be very valuable to you. No matter what you ultimately decide, at some point you will need to know something about business, accounting, administration, etc. Take the business classes. I wish I had!

Just take it. You could learn some useful things from a business class (i took intro to business in college before and I thought it was/is pretty useful today)

If you want to open your own practice, you will probably need a Ph.D degree. My psych instructor told me that.

You can never go wrong with taking a business class. It will benefit you no matter what field you are in. Intro to business, intro to accounting, etc. Cake classes, GPA boosters, mom pleasers. Just do it. It won't hurt you.

If you really don't want to, then your mom should respect that. At least you have ambition.
