Why do some white folks on YA find it shocking when a racist comments with regards to their race is posted?

It just amuses me that whites are so sensitive to racism that is directed towards them, when I can't come on YA without seeing the N word and all manner of racial slurs concerning blacks! lol.......

It just hurts our feelings that if you trace all the best ideas of all time there is a white looking at you. We expect to be nurtured and respected.

Many to most Whites have not lived in a community that is predominately a minority race. When Whites see all this discussion about them a lot of the times they find this almost as a new experience. No you can not claim that you live in a diverse community if the population is like 90% White that is not diverse. Diverse would be like 70% to even claim something like that. I think that many people no that their answers whether it be filled with the n bomb or other racial slurs will be done without anybody really knowing who did it. No one knows what i look like so i am free to write what i want with that knowledge. That also means that i could (but still dont) write demeaning terms without me being ever caught. What everyone says on the posts just shows some insight into what their true beliefs without guilt or regret is.

Don't read those!!! I have been on YA for a few months now, and I have never seen and of the "racist" comments to are referring to.

I don't see where there is a section in the profile that tells you what race a person is... Why would it matter?

There has been so much ado about race, keep race out of it..look at people as people and treat each other fairly till they prove otherwise.
