When I'm having trouble sleeping, I take a 1-2 supplements of Melatonin and also 1-2 capsules of Valerian Root.

Here's some background knowledge...
Melatonin is a hormone produced naturally by the body, which makes us feel sleepy. It's production is triggered by darkness and inhibited by light (i.e. "the hormone of darkness").

Valerian Root is derived from the Valerian plant. It helps promote more restful sleep because it is a natural muscle relaxer. A little warning though, even in capsule form, Valerian Root has a very strong odor. This hasn't stopped me from taking it though, as I find it quite effective!

Neither of these supplements have any serious side effects, but Valerian Root can be mildly addictive if taken in large doses. Just to be safe though, talk to your doctor/pharmacist. Good luck :)

I could suggest that you read something really boring, your course notes if you are a student or a report.

If not, I could always sing a lullaby for you though that would probably mean I would break a window and the cold winter wind would make you unable to sleep more. So I still suggest the above.

I listen to music and thats how i get to sleep. im sick though so i go to sleep anyway!

for sleeping body should have requirement for it, you should be tired enough, or you should be strained enough.

Please do physical work & watch T.V.seriels,study something ,read something like novels.
remove your daytoday tension.you will get benefited

i would read or listen to music until i fall alseep. but thats just me
