I've had a really bad migraine today, and I took two panadols, which didn't do anything, so took two more three hours later. I know I was supposed to wait another hour (4-6 hours), but I was in a lot of pain. It's gone away now, but my question is, will this affect my baby (six-month-old) through breastmilk (because I took the pills closer together than I should have)? Or will it still be okay for her to drink?

I'm not sure what the doses were that you took, and I'm no doctor, but based on the website below, I would think it would be okay. I would call a pharmacist or doctor to be sure, though. This isn't the kind of thing you want to risk!!

yes you have to wait the 4-6 hours, if you think about it panadeine forte which they give you when you get out of hospital is 500mg Paracetemol and 30 Codeine and two of those is enough to send an adult to sleep for a few hours imagine how much 250 of paracetmol can do to a baby or even worse 500mg
Follow directions I am sure babys health is more important than a migraine, try to shut yourself in a dark room, drink lots of water and just take the prescribed amount or panadol. best of luck I also suffer from horrible migranes, so I understand what it's like when you cant take anything for them

Should be fine. Only the smallest amount passes through your breastmilk, things like sudafed aren't good though. Panadol is fine though!
