We settled that question in 1865. Now just let us know where your property is and I'm sure that we will recognize it, as we are arresting everyone who desires it, and well, march across shazamm like Sherman did to the sea. I saw that episode of Family Guy.
Once they declared themselves their own nation, they lost the rights to the city water, city utilities, and city sewage line... you might take all that into consideration before completely declaring yourself "sovereign."
