My sister's friend is 16 years old and she has liver cancer and earlier this week her doctor diagnosed her with terminal cancer. And they say she doesnt have that much time left. And I wanted to take them out and do some fun stuff and hang out before anything happens to her. I need some ideas of things that we can do.

animals can really calm people down without them knowing. horseback riding, a petting zoo, if there's a big zoo near you i bet if you contacted their management and explained the situation they would let her meet and interact with some of the tame animals.

skydiving?

organize a suprise party for here - even if its not her birthday.

start a penny drive at your school or set up cans at local shops with her story for her entertainment fund so you can afford whatever you wan to do.

take her to dinner. make pizza at home. have a dress up party or night out

go to a spa or for manicures.

find a photographer or photography studio and ask if they will donate some of their time to take some pictures of you all. you could have fun with it - do an eighties theme or something.

listen to her and if she wants to do what feels comfortable, even if its staying at home with family and friends, then thats whats best for her.

I am so sorry to her that I last year my sister died of liver cancer and I was going through the same thing you guys are( I'm not going to give advice I am just going to share my situation) We found that we had the most joy finding out more of what the WORD of GOD says about the eternal life! This life here is not forever but the life with our heavenly father is eternal. Their was no movie, outing, dinner, outfit etc...... that could really make her happy because these fun things are wordly things help her think ETERNITY theirs no more cancer or pain where she should want to spend the rest of eternal life at. No one is to young to know the GOODNESS of ETERNAL LIFE! I will keep her and your family in my prayers. Be honest and share the memories you guys have is priceless! BLESS YOU ( i hope I did not offend you or her in anyway talking about GOD or whomever your higher power is as long as you know the is one)

I am so sorry to hear of this tragedy! I think taking them out is a great idea! I would go somewhere that isn't too hectic that you can't enjoy one another, but not so boring that she'll be apt to dwell over the innevitable. This would be an opportunity for you to be a great friend and give them one of their last best memories together. Ask your friend what her sis likes doing best. I would give her the best hoorah you can! It would make your friend so happy to see her sis enjoying herself, and she'll always remember that! I wish you the best, and for your friends too! I hope a miracle will happen.

Not to be innappropriate, but I'd like to mention I own a company that creates customized memorial teddy bears. Now I'm not soliciting you, but it may help your friend somewhere down the road. www.memorybears.net
I'll say nothing more on that, but I hope all works out for you guys! You'll be in my thoughts.

I don't think there is a such a perfect answer to you question, but just want you to know you get respect for doing what you are doing and I think that is best thing you can do for. I think spending time with her is the best thing, I mean you guys can do anything you want but what will matter the most is that you were there for during this time and will never be forgetting. And I am really sorry to hear this, I know it is hard to keep happy face during time like this. Best of luck to all of you

You can try to take her out to see the sunset and stay till sunrise to experience the joy of life and maybe give her a hug or two to let her know that you are there for her.

Tell her to take one day at a time and live life to the fullest. But most of all, enjoy every second of it.

Make everyday a celebrated day. For example, monday is New Year's Day, tuesday is Valentine's Day, wednesday is Xmas etc.
celebrate all the special days with her.

Im so sorry for your friends. please make good memories...some that'll make you laugh to watch them on a video. spiritual lovely memories. peace

Anything she wants. Forget the rules, short of robbing the local Stop and Rob. Any victimless crimes will do.

She can't even get a transplant? That's so sad. I agree, an amusement park, comedy movies, icecream...whatever.
