not at all. You shouldn't support the government if they are not doing things that are good for america. patriotism is loving your country, and being critical of politicians that sell their country out. it is a large percent of them that have done just this. The new world order is trying to end national boundaries, and these people have TREMENDOUS POWER. The Council on foreign relations, the trilateral commission, the bilderberg conference, and other Rockefeller-founded organizations are pushing for world government. The North American Union is a product of the new world order. I hope people take the new world order seriously. DO some research for yourself.

Ron Paul is the best candidate for 2008, because he actually believes in the constitution, and his voting record proves this. He is the only candidate for 2008 that didn't vote to go to war with Iraq.

don't confuse patriotism with supporting the government. Often the most patriotic thing you can do is to oppose the government. Dont mistake government for country. Governments can be wicked, countries are just masses of real estate.

Patriotism means supporting our country----not necessarily our government!

When they are doing something wrong it is our duty to call them on it and make them accountable!

Only when you do it with "Blinders-on" like the majority of nutjob righty's on here.

Patriotism is not the false belief of "American Prowess" that our current Administration tries to propogate. Take the example of how they treat the soldier's at Walter Reed. Better still--look at the attempts to cover it up!! The conservative talking-points agenda to tie any Democratic legislation to some sort of question of patriotism is a joke and deceitfully intentional.
