if wolverine of the x men has retractable claws the my question is, when he retracts his claws in his hands, how does he move his wrists?

the retractable claws are stored in Logan's arms, in the movies if you look at the part where they are looking at Wolverine's X-Rays you can actually see them in his forearm X-Ray.
