1 point? What place are the Kings in? Who's on the Kings? Who's the goal tender? He's almost 50 years old! The Ducks SUCK! They barely got a point!

Kaotic29- So you think that the reason that The Anaheim Mighty Sucks of Disneyland don't get any credit is because they are not from L.A.??? I know they are not called Mighty anymore, or they're not owned by Disney anymore. Where did the team originate from and who was the first owner? A Disney (stupid) children's movie? The Queens (as you call them) pitiful team with no name players just beat your stanley cup favorite! When they beat the Kings this year, the difference was one goal! If you have lived in So Cal for 19 years then you should be a Kings fan like me(L.A. 37yrs)! You probably started liking the SUCKS when they went to the finals! Do you own a Mighty Duck call from the innaugural game? I do only because I went to the game to watch the Red Wings beat the crap out of them! The reason the Duck fans are disliked by King fans is because they are ignorant and still don't know the game after 13 years!

I am a Kings fan, i think the duks dont deserve to be a hockey team. First of all, they have the worst fans of any team. They fans boo the refs every time a kings player just barely nudges a ducks player. I was at a kings ducks game at the pond a few weeks ago, and the fans had driven me insane by the 2nd period. They should read the darn rulebook every now and then. They dont even know what a puck is. They are the most annoying, one-sided, idiot fans in the world. Also, thier announcers are the most one sided, biased announcers in the whole league. When I watched a ducks avs game on tv in colorodo, the announcers blamed the ducks poor playing on the elevation and cold tepmerature. They should realize that the ducks just SUCK! GO KINGS!!!!!!!!!

I've been a Ducks fan since the beginning, and part of the Duck's problem with attendance is the Kings. In no way can any serious fan tell you that the Kings are drawing serious hockey fans. Tom Leykis attends all the Kings home games for crying out loud! It's a glitzy thing to go to a Kings game - I know, I went to one. And Los Angeles is a problem when it comes to sports because they make everything about the show but forget their teams suck (which baseball team won the World Series more recently? Went to it? Made the LCS? How about even made the playoffs? Oh yeah, the Anaheim Angels). Those who don't understand the situation in So Cal, all television major media is from Los Angeles, not Orange County, which is where Anaheim is located. That is why the slant toward the Kings and Dodgers, as well as both basketball teams. Even the Clippers get more attention in their worst seasons than the Ducks did when they were taking the Devils to 7 games in the 2003 Stanley Cup Finals.
I have been calling for the removal of the Kings from Los Angeles for a simple reason - they are one of 5 teams to play in the Staples Center. People talk about the Ducks moving, but honestly, Staples could lose the Queens and never notice the difference. The Ducks, now that they aren't owned by Disney, are more interetsed in putting together a good team and winning, rather than making a profit like the Purple Pride you call a team. Besides, why leave a quality arena empty with your glut of talentless teams playing in an arena that looks like it is drawn on a round wall.
Now, real hockey fans of So Cal, do yourself a favor, and jump on I-5 or the 57 and catch a game in Anaheim and watch how a real team plays. It'll make you not want to watch that garbage a team like the Queens puts out there.
Duncan - No, the Kings remind me of the Raiders. It might be the fact they wore the same colors and were underachievers all those years. Besides, I hate Los Angeles. I grew up in the Inland Empire, where we had to deal with that same Los Angeles bias. That also made the Kings inaccessable to me, seeing as we weren't going to drive over an hour on a weeknight to go to a game. Orange County is much more accessible from San Bernardino/Riverside, which you well know. Do I own a Duck call from the inagural game? No, my mom and I couldn't afford to go to any games until I was 18 because she had a low paying job and wasn't getting much for child support. And seeing as I'm from Western New York, I probably know the game (at age 25) better than you do being in So Cal.
And yes, I do see the Los Angeles bias. You can't deny my point about the Angels, who play across the 57 from the Honda Center, have the same issue. You're just jealous that the Queens won't be making the playoffs this year, but also aren't as bad as the Flyers so they can get the #1 pick. I know how Los Angeles is, I've been there a couple times and don't feel the need to go back. It makes me ill. Gretzky isn't the best ever - look at the team he had around him in Edmonton. If he was so great, how come the Kings only made the Stanley Cup Finals once, in 1993?
And so what if the Ducks originated from a kids movie? How is that relevant to the product they put on the ice? And the Queens can outdraw the Ducks until the end of time, but one thing won't change. They are still the 4th tenants in a venue that hosts 6 teams, and the only reason they aren't lower on the list is because few people care about the WNBA's Sparks and Arena Football isn't fully on the map yet. And with all the money lining the owners pocket, they have no motivation to make the team better.
And your guess is wrong. But seeing as you're a Kings fan, I would expect you to believe that I'd be a bandwagon jumper after 2002-2003. Even if I was, however, I would have jumped off the LA bandwagon a long time ago.

With all due respect, I think you need to learn some hockey.....
1. The NHL is the highest level of hockey, on any night any team can beat any other team. It's going to be about who can win 4 best of 7 SERIES in the playoffs.
2. Most teams could maybe use Cammelleri, Frolov, Armstrong, Visnovski. They aren't exactly minor leaguers.
3. Guess the Red Wings must suck too, their Goalie is like 50 also.
4. Beg Pardon, Grasshopper but Ducks CAN beat the Kings. Check scores of ALL games between them this year.
5. I am a Kings' fan and I REALLY wish we "sucked" as bad as the Ducks. They will be playing Hockey late in April and beyond. We won't.

The Ducks don't suck: however, they are over rated. They can beat the Kings-they have all year. The Ducks are the more successful of the two franchises right now-even if they have horrible attendance and ignorant fans. At least the ducks are in the playoffs-the Kings might make it next year, but probably the year after that. Anaheim is not owned by disney anymore-they are heading a different direction now-most likely portland.

First with good moves I think the kings will be way up next year and more competitive in 2 or 3 seasons. They have a good core and have not really had too much trouble scring. It has been a lack of defense and goal tending as well as sloppiness plaguing them this year.
Anahiem is struggling, but I think they really are more the team that we saw in the start of the season not the one for the last few months. Hopefully for them they can finish strong. But they seem well built for the playoffs IMO along with having some veterans and if Giguere can step up again look out.
I don't know what their problem is though. I have seen quite a few games where they have just dominated play, but come away with a loss. So I think their record is also not indicative of their play.
They do have a lot of trouble in overtime/SO it seems.

While I don't think the Ducks will win the Cup, they do have a great team.
What sucks about the Ducks is their fans, since their tickets are seemingly easy to get on the day of a weekend game (that happened to me this season); Kings' tickets on the other hand, you practically have to pull your hair out in order to get them months in advance (that also happened to me this season and no, I didn't pull my hair out). That shows that Kings fans are fiercely loyal, sometimes to a fault; Ducks fans are bandwagoners

Ducks may still be the team to beat in the playoffs. The best 2 dmen in hockey and a goalie that can be dominating. A slew of strong but not outstanding forwards lead by a crafty Selanne. We'll see in June won't we. (No I'm not a Duck fan).

lol.... ok, the Ducks don't suck but they are over-rated and were over-hyped at the beginning of the season. Giguerre is above average but in a lot of surveys on YA people think he is in the league of Hasek and Brodeur..... he's not. He's just got a great defensive corps; until he controls his rebounds then maybe he would be great. (And for anyone who disagrees and tells me he won the Con Smythe, please look at his stats for the following years.. he is the definition of streaky).
Ducks are a good, solid team though... a above average team.

Pop is pop for a reason. track is a style of paintings, no longer actual everyone going to love the comparable subject, yet there is no track that sucks, its in simple terms distinctive types. If each and every little thing replaced into the comparable, that'd be variety of uninteresting. hear to what you decide directly to hearken to. there is no longer something incorrect with playing pop track. i admire my honest share of dad.
