I mean, how would my child introduce my godson to someone else? Ie, as a friend, brother, etc?

As a friend. The only way a child would introduce another child as a brother/sister would be if they shared the same parents. Being a "God parent" doesn't give you parental rights. All being a god parent is is to make sure that the child's spiritual (religious) upbringing is kept intact and to be sure the child's spiritual needs are taken care of if anything should happen to the parents. Being a god parent doesn't mean that if something happened to those parents you would become the child's parent. It does not grant you legal guardianship. Therefore you children can only be friends to your godchild and visa versa.
