My friend, who i regard as my bestfriend for almost a year now got mad at me last night. I borrowed her camera memory card to get some pictures for the paper we are working on for our paper at school. I just copied them. I was awaken last night to see that she has 3 missed calls. when i called her up, she was so angry at me and shouting. she said she opened her camera only to find out she could not view the pics anymore, they were in ? mark. i said i didnt do anything but copy them. she was so angry , she said they own those pics and hadnt even printed them yet. I said i copied the pics for our paper thats all, i didnt delete them. she was shouting at me. after that, i texted her and said sorry. she texted back and said that she shouldnt have said those words and said lets forget about it. I am so hurt of what she did to me, i looked like a little child being scolded on, i didnt do anything but copy the pics. what should i do? let go of the friendship?

No. I'd be mad to if i opened up my camera to discover the memory card missing.

So if you did not ask for permission first. then I would say your in the fault.

Also if you both said sorry, then is this really a reason to throw away a friendship?

Just poor communication. If you were working on the project together, there should have been even better communication.

If you both, or you place all your friendship on this one incident, then she is not your Best Friend. Best Friends can survive something like this.

She may have been a good friend, but, a Best Friend may require more. Other than that, .....Best Friends do have arguments and can get angry with each other. The thing that will determine if it's a good friendship is if you both have the humility to apologize to each other and forgive each other.

It's a bit premature to suggest dropping her as a friend unless you have little faith in her and/or yourself to make amends. A good friendship is for better or worse also for the most part unless absolute betrayal takes place.

Sounds like she was stressed out. A lot of times when people are close friends they take out their stress on each other. They do it because they can trust their friend to forgive them. They have no one else to turn to. Friendships have ups and downs. If you can get through the downs your friendship will be stronger. Don't break up a friendship unless something really severe happens (this isn't severe). Just let her know you are sorry something happened to her camera, if it was your fault it wasn't inentional and that you forgive her but didn't appreciate the way you were treated. And then after you say that drop it. You can still be friends and you'll have a better friendship!

dont end your friendship just because of that, she just got a little annoyed at the fact tat you didnt tell her you took her memory card, if you were in her position youd probably do the same thing she did too.
