There is no resemblance on the devil because the devil is a living spirit who is fighting against .. The horns and human-like appearance which you usually see as pictures are just imagination coming out from the mind of the painter or the doer of that picture. Nobody have sin a devil or Satan

The Devil is a Christian corruption of many mythical beings and gods. For example the Green Man is a pagan god who generally has the horns of a deer or other creatures such as this (as with any "myth" there is dispute about what kind of antlers or horns he has and other aspects of his existence). The Green man is generally known as a northwestern european deity, to the best of my knowledge.
Another commonly known being is the half man half goat creature known as a faun or satyr.
I'm positive there are many other creatures and deities throughout mythology that not only have horns but other aspects which today are commonly related to the Christian Devil of today.

The Devil is a combination of many different images. His image of the horns and goat's feet comes from the Horned God (Cernunnos) of the Celts and Pan of the Greeks. These images were used to convince the pagan people that their gods were of the devil. Other images are added throughout history.

the popular image of the devil was "invented" in the middle ages as a way to mock the devil. but eventually people forgot about this and began to think that's what he is like

The Satyr is a close resemblance. Most images of Satyr are often lurid, but here is one rated PG.
