Why is it that during the begining of the year, the sun rises later and sets later whereas towards the end of the year, the sun rises earlier and also sets earlier???
Doesn't the earth rotates about herself and revolves about the sun at the same speed throughout the year??

The reason what you talk about happens is due to Earth being tilted some 23-degrees on its axis. Because of that, as we orbit around the sun it appears lower in the sky during winter, and higher during summer.
