looking for a small towne?

im looking for a small towne to live in preferably in LI in suffolk. i want a place where evryone knows each other. people are friendly and helpful. something like the gilmore girls towne. i kno the ideal doesnt exist but something close to it :)

Be careful of what you wish for......I live in a small town where everyone knows each other. We have little signs in store windows saying "Friendliest town in the mountains". But isn't true. Only the wealthy family run things and we never get new stores because those families don't want any competition and everyone knows your business.

Don't go there unless you can afford a house that costs 500k to a million dollars and upward. Everyone knows that Long Island is super expensive and apartments are both pricey and scarce. Most young people are moving away to other states because nothing is affordable there unless you want to have 6 room-mates.

everyone knows your name and when you last took a crap! small towns arnt all bread n butter, but there are many in Co. the best bet is to find a village, they do still exsist and have a small population. i lived in Red Feather Village, Co and we had to drive 1hr to go to the store. there was only a post office, 2 bars, 3 resterants, a library, coffee shop and tackle store. good luck!

why dont you go to another country? I heard form my firend who worked in the asian games, that Qatar is the countrie you wanna live in!
