Yes, cramping in the first trimester is quite normal, especially after sexual activity or when your bladder is full.

If your cramps are severe, persistent and/or accompanied by bleeding, contact your doctor immediately.

My answer is soley based off of personal observation. I have 4 kids and my wife was ALWAYS getting different cramps and pains. Ultimately, we came to learn that as long as there is no blood or discharge being expelled, then chances are that you are fine. As you progress further into it, the only other thing to watch for would be movement of the baby. If you are having odd pains and you dont feel the baby move at least once every 2 hours, then that would be worth getting checked out.

Hope this helps :)...and congratulations!!!

In my first trimester I suffered from loads of pains about 15 per day, some of them super uncomfortable, the Dr says that in the first trimester you only worry if you see blood, he said that pain doesn't count as it is caused by loads of things, ovaries working on full trying to produce the hormones for the bug, things, stretching and reacommodating, loads of reasons. I wouldn't worry at all, if something bad had happened you would already be bleeding by now. I wish you the best of luck with your pregnancy you are half way through the first trimester one of the hardest phases, enjoy!!!

It is hard to tell from the information given, but was that the only pain? Did any discharge follow? Did any other pain follow behind that 1minute. I would not worry unless it happens again or it's accompanied by discharge, numbness in legs, back pain, etc. Sometimes small pains may happen and be completly unrelated to your pregnancy, but if you have any other worsening symptoms contact your doctor.

I've been pregnant twice. And i have gotten pain too. But, i think as long a you dont get it often, its fine. If you get the pain a lot. And i mean A LOT! go to your doctor. Or call your doctor. Let him/her know. Maybe they could give you a better answer.

i dont want to scare you but you might want to go to the doctor adn get that checked out it seems a little late for it to be cramps from your uterus adjusting to having a baby in it

it could be the round ligament that holds up your uterus stretching to make more room for the growing faetus...
if it happens again...or tings change...i would see your doctor
good luck
