i've tried all the deodorants, soaps, and antipersperants I could find; but my problem is more than that...

what can stop the stench? It's ruining my social life because of both the odor and lack of self confidence...my goal is to just get through the day without a "it smells disgusting in here" or "what smells" or "did you fart?" remark

Yes, chlorophyll is a general body deodorizer, and zinc is often useful for men wishing to decrease body odor, less so for women. Chlorophyll is totally safe to try in any dose. Take with every meal or snack for the first few days. Zinc should be taken in relatively small doses, maybe 20 mg a day, as some people find it upsets their stomach. A multi-vitamin (especially one marker "men's") may have enough.

One other supplement to buy while you're at the health food store getting chlorophyll is acidophilous. That will help your body grow beneficial bacteria that fight the ones that cause odor.

Don't use anti-bacterial soap, as that can destroy the normal skin flora and make the problem worse. Just shower with normal soap.

If you take these three supplements for a week and there is no improvement, then it is time to consult a doctor, as some diseases cause odors, and you might need to make sure you don't have something nasty that really needs to be dealt with. But chances are that chlorophyll (take lots to start out), zinc, and acidophilous will clear up the problem for you.
