A blood test is more accurate showing if your pregnant or not 7 days following conception.

Surprisingly, cheap tests purchased at dollar stores or on the Internet are often more sensitive and reliable than expensive store brands. HPT's are like soda: very cheap to make, and marked up quite a bit for retail.

Pregnancy tests are 99.9% accurate when taken on the day you missed your period but it can show up to 5 days before your missed period. I took a test 7 days before my period was due and got a positive!

All pregnancy tests worki It just depends when you are taking the test(recomemended you take the first thing in the morning). For the cheaper ones, they are more likely to give you a false negative. The more expensive ones(like EPT, and First Response) can be taken a couple days before your expexted period. If you want to know 100% that you are or are not pregnant, schedule an appt with your doctor for a blood test.

the best and most accurate test is to go and conuslt a doctor. pregnancy test accuracy depends on its quality. if it is cheap and the brand is unknown, it will only give you a false answer. if you dont want to go to a doctor yet, buy a good quality of pregnancy test. if it gives you a negative answer, repeat it again to make sure.

all HPTs are the same...
if you want VERY accurate at an early stage (days not weeks) then have your doctor write you a prescription for a serum HCG and go to a lab to have it done.
