I like watching movies with friends at home.
Annoying stuff always happens at the theater, but I still go often.
One time this guy decided to have a heart attack during Deja Vu, it was so annoying. He couldn't have just had one on his own time.

The popcorn is definitly better. Now that people such as myself have 60inch TVs with surround, the only movies I go to now are mostly ones that require large screens, like Lord of The Rings etc. I would say movies are better at the theater except when someone puts there feet up on the back of the chair.

That's a fascinating question. Yes, I think movies are more exciting in the theater, because it is the shared experience with an audience that makes it more thrilling. You can hear reactions from the audience, laughs, groans, cheers . . . and snoring , if the movie is a bomb!

Home, because you don't have people screaming and talking and such.
BUT it depends on what sound system and/or type T.V you have.
If you have a small TV, well, obviously the theater is better.

I prefer to recline in the couch and watch movie at home with friends and family.
