I'm interested in comparing poverty rates before and after Katrina in the affected counties but am having trouble getting good data. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.

The data is tough, because many of the people in poverty actually moved out of their homes, or were dislocated...

Try the Center on Budget Policy and Priorities. It looks like they have a lot of good information.
