Those questions aren't dumb! People of all people are just being inquisitive. What if everyone knows everything, won't that be boring and dumb? Questions are asked to show that we are conscious of our environments and our era and those things which interact with us daily in our life time. We ask to learn and to understand one another and when that happened, we live in peace and thereby grow together to build the nations of intellectual people. With them we have the increase of innovations! And they bring ease and harmonious to any society. These are just my thought but others may have theirs.
