DSLreports.com put in your address and it will show you all the providers in your area and a review of those providers by users who are actually useing them.

Actually, no DSL service is as good as Cable. But to find out, check with your area's telephone company and the cable company that serves your area. Or go to yahoo or Google search and type DSL or Cable Internet Service Providers and pick the best that serves your area.

When I lived in North Texas a few years back, I had SBC Yahoo! DSL service. I never had any issues with it, and it comes with some perks for yahoo services. I would imagine they offer service in the central area.

Quest is very competitive in DSL pricing. Cox Cable is fairly reasonable.
