I have been in a relationship that has not benefited me mentally, spirtually, physically or sexually. I have said for so long I am going to leave and find within myself what really makes me happy.I have joined a spirit filled church where I am taught the word of GOD and came to realize I have purpose, favor, and provision. This person seems to be comfortable where he is in life @ I want more for myself and my children. I have 3 children all boys that needs a role model in their life I feel I should not have to do everything in the relationship. I feel I have done all I can do. So why is it so hard to move on when I know it's for the best? Why is change so hard ?

Could it be because anything that comes easy isn't worth having in life? It's not going to be easy to let your life of so long dissolve, but if you have tried everything possible to make it work and things just won't turn around for the better, you have to think of your kids and your happiness for whatever time God has left for you.

It is simply fear of the unknown. Part of you is afraid you are makeing the wrong decision and is fearful you will harm your children as a result. It is a very basic fear, perfectly natural, and has nothing to do with reason, logic, rational though or the facts. Change is hard. Instincts are strong to stay with what has been. Leaving is a leap of faith. Faith in yourself is being tested and so fear comes with the test. Face it and you can overcome it.

You haven't gained peace of mind yet and doubts cloud your decisions about this. You'll be ok, you need to do what's best for you even it means walking away from someone. it normal to feel as you do, you were with him for 10years regardless how he treated you. he was someone that you
loved,but you have done the right thing you have the stength
to move on and that the hard part but you can make it . it will
get better but just take baby steps and then you will see that

because we hate to admit we failed. and u have been with him a long time. it is hard to change, and leave someone no matter how they treat us. being in a bad relationship steals our self worth from us, and our courage. even if the relationship is bad, we will still love them, love doesn't just die. but in finding god, u have found your self worth, so now u are seeing him and your life for what it is.

separation anxiety.....it will pass. Build a new life for yourself and keep reminding yourself every min why he was a bad force in your life. He is gone now....there are good people out there....interesting people go and meet out into the world and be you.
