inaudibly like almost under there breath sing " lonely hearts club band!!!" right at the end before the crowd noise, I have only just now heard this and I have heard that album many times

Do you mean atthe end of the song, where Paul is shouting "we're the greatest rock n roll band", yes there is a faint "Sgt Pepper's Band" it's all more prevalent on the mono version

I took a couple listens and I think I heard the sound you are talking about and I think it is possible that you are correct, but I am not very sure about it. It's too low in the mix to say with any certainty that they are singing those words and I'm actually not even convinced (assuming that we are talking about the same sound) that it is even a vocal sound.

I don't know for sure. But the Beatles were among the first to dub many layers of music and sounds onto their records (I forget the exact term for it though). You probably aren't hearing things. It probably is there.
