No doubt Tibetan activists will use the olympic games as a forum to protest Chinese occupation of Tibet, social injustices, and imprisonment and torture of Tibetan people.

Do you think that the Olympic Games are an appropriate forum for this?

i think it should be kept quite until the games are over it could ruin the games can you say the black panther all over again

Not at all. Politics were never meant to be part of the Olympic Games. If that were the case than every city that ever hosted the Games would be protested for something.

Dissent will be brutally suppressed in 2008. China is a terrible venue for the Olympics. Expect major problems ranging from outright cheating by the Chinese to pollution to harassment of visitors.
