It's Daisuke Niwa because all males in the Niwa family have names that start with a D so all of them will have the initials D.N.

Yeah I always thought it was Daisuke Niwa but DNA makes alot more sense.

It's a play on words. "DNA"+"Angel" The DN doesn't really mean anything other than that.
