my favorites would be saw 1,2 and 3 and my worst would be a tie between the descent and hostel.

Dude, catch something prior to 2000. The best horror flicks are from the 1970's: Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Jaws. The worst are from the 1980's: all the Friday the 13th/Halloween rip-offs.
I love the Saw movies but hey...The Descent was awesome!

My favorite horror would have to be Santa Sangre. WHEN will this be released on DVD?
Someone listed Rear Window as horror. Not horror. Suspense. Big difference.
Blood Simple is great. But is it horror? Not sure.
I also have enjoyed very alternative horror films like Gozu and Eraserhead. I prefer psychologically disturbing/creepy to slasher flix.
But for good old fashioned monster flicks, you can't get better than Alien (the first is the only one worth watching, imho)

My favorite might be something from Stephen King, like The Stand or Rose Red.
My least favorite would probably have to be Halloween 3: Season of the Witch. Oh, and House of the Dead.

The worst I have ever seen would be Aliens Vs. Predator, then the Hills Have Eyes followed by Stay Alive.
