i was just wandering which colleges in ohio you guys thought were the best and the most prestigious academically. i know of a few that are all pretty close to one another and i was just wandering if anyone had a definate answer. thanks

In terms of private colleges, Oberlin is definitely the most academically rigorous and prestigious.
Among all state schools, I would have to say that Miami is more academically rigorous than Ohio State.

I dont know if Ohio State is considered very prestigious, but I think the school gives you more "bang for your buck" than other schools in Ohio.

its Ohio State baby. As of this year (semester) Ohio state has more students than any other college in America, they are over 50,000 students strong, great football team. Of course the more students and the better your collegiate sports program is, the more money you bring in. The more money you bring in the better your teachers will be.

Ohio State is a pretty great school academically and they have a phenomenal athletic program as well--can't beat that combo.
