You will catch on quick. Just find someplace with lots of room and no traffic or obstacles. A big abandoned parking lot or a field. Get someone else to drive the car there. Watch their feet as they are driving. then you take over. You'll probably stall it several times but I bet that after an hour or so you will have confidence to drive home. When you get so you can start off on an upward hill with out stalling, or rolling back, I'd say that you have it made.

Practice, Practice, Practice, Find some one that knows how to drive stick and ask him/her to teach u. It is not something that can be thought over the computer, since every clutch has a different engage point. At first it will not be easy and u will stall the car, but with practice it becomes second nature, I don’t even think about putting the clutch in, changing gears or what gear do I have to put it in, it is like walking, as long as u don’t look at ur feet, u don’t trip, as soon as u do u fall.

It should be an excellent car to learn to drive a stick shift. The reason is because it is very lightweight vehicle and this makes learning to release the clutch easier because there is less mass than most vehicles.
