Democrats fought both wars here at home against our military and it's been far too long since they stood up for democracy . I believe the War on Terror would have made much more progress if not for liberals , and their war on the War on Terror . Our military was so dismantled by the Clinton administration - that it's no wonder terrorists figured we were vulnerable . I shudder thinking what would have happened if Kerry had been elected -we would be defenseless..the liberals dream since they loathe our way of life . If they didn't -why would prominent Democrat senators slander the U.S. around the world ? I do wonder about Vietnam . How in the world could a man like John Kerry , whose picture is still hung in a Communist war remnants museum as one of their heroes - who helped the North Vietnamese win the war against the U.S.- how could this man be elected a U.S, Senator AND even run for President ? Why wasn't he running for office in one of his much loved Communist countries ?? Is it because he has work to do here..to pioneer a Communist America ? Also - listening to Hillary Clinton , she sure sounds Gestapo like to me.. along with Kerry;Gore;Kennedy ;Durbin;Pelosi; and Reid .

Reaganomics lite the fuse and Clinton allowing NAFTA & GATT to replace the tariffs that once protected the United States of America's economic base are the causes of today's global crisis for the U.S. Ross Periot warned the pubic, but all we saw was a little guy from Texas with a megalomanic ego. Come to think of it, we have another one in the White House right now.

It's not a right or left problem. It's not a Republican vs Democrat problem. It is an American problem of the corporate elite vs the general public. The Federal government must save the public they claim to represent or America as we know it is toast.

Its possible, but the more important fact is that there would not have even been a war in Iraq with out Bush's lies. Its meant the death of thousands of good US soldiers, the loss of billions of dollars that could have built schools and rebuilt New Orleans and the death of 10's of thousands of innocent Iraqi's. Bush is a war criminal.

I too have wondered about this, they don't seem to realize that what they do de-moralizes the troops, which makes them feel depressed about not having support, in turn leading them into a state of mind which lowers their perception and awareness, which tends to get some wounded or killed. If they would only show more support for what the men ans women are doing, maybe this war will be over quicker, and we may have won 'Nam if only they had treated the troops better.

IF bush would not have lied to begin with, there would not be a war!!!!!
The so-called "war on terror" fought as the war on Iraq is taking place in a country that had nothing to do with 9-11. Iraq posed no threat to the United States except in the minds of those requiring and/or fabricating the reasons for war. Yes, , let us talk of the sickness then. A first strike, preventive war of choice is sick. Bombing a country through "Shock and Awe" because it was expedient to have access to our desperately needing its oil is sick. Adopting and using a policy of extreme rendition where the U.S. government sanctions and fosters the disappearance of people to nations where gross torture is allowed so that surrogates can do the dirty work for it is sick. Lying to Congress, the US people and the world in order to justify going to war is sick. Murdering complete Iraqi families by dropping 1,000 pound bombs on them is sick. Breaking the standard by which human decency is maintained, at least in part, during war, i.e., the Hague Conventions of 1889 and 1907, the Geneva Conventions of 1949, and the Nuremberg Conventions adopted by the United Nations December 11, 1945, is sick. Unloading hundreds of tons of depleted uranium is sick. Dropping cluster bombs is sick. Unexploded cluster bomb bomblets becoming land mines taking off children's limbs is sick. Killing as you would call them precious unborn fetuses by poisoning them with radioactive dust is sick. Our youth dying for the ruling elite and rich man's war for profit is sick. Let us reiterate once again, that going to war with Iraq had nothing to do with any threat from Iraq and it had nothing to do with 9-11. It had everything to do with lying about weapons of mass destruction, lying about aluminum tubes, lying about yellow-cake uranium, lying about mobile biological and chemical weapons labs, lying to the United Nations, lying to the world. That, , is sick. And, it is this sickness that you would project onto those who criticize you and the sickness of this regime. The fact that anyone else, or faction, or nation, may be sicker is not justification for excusing this regime's sickness.

The excessive inability of the Bush regime to face the reality of their behavior and solve the problems they created in their sick war of choice contributes to their psychosis. While Rumsfeld suppresses and rationalizes, intellectualizing the slaughtering of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and over thousands (a more likely death toll) of US troops, you find scapegoats within those who want to stop the insanity. You, are the pot calling the kettle black. Just who is the sick one ? For, if you and this administration are not, you are far worse. You are evil.

Maybe! At least if it weren't, we'd still be closer to winning if not for them tying our troops' hands behind their backs!
