because the easiest way to feel big, is to make someone else feel small. and they dont have the empathy, or the maturity to try understand whut their doing to other people...i doubt that if most people knew the pain they caused by spreading rumors, that they wud continue to spread them
ps: i think sharif is right..tho i think its experiences that give us the opportunity to grow in maturity, and the older u get the more experiences u have, and the more chances to grow in maturity appear. altho their are plenty of people who haven't taken advantage of those opportunity's to much older ages..i think its easy to pick on the young for their lack of experience, altho yet again, some of the most mature people i have met were very young.

Political dynamics....it's EVERY DANG WHERE....and it starts young in our schools. Teens??? Third graders are beginning to see how political dynamics work--and they know the buttons to push, oh belive me.
By teenage years, rumors get started to discredit one's character, embarass them, maybe even to keep a target person from earning a position at school or even to have a target person removed in disgrace by such innuendo.
Yes, it DOES hurt to be a target of nasty rumor or innuendo....espicially when school teachers blindly discredit you from hearing them.....as such happened to me a long long time ago.

sometimes we dont even know its a "rumor" thats how it becomes a rumor because ppl think its true so they want to tell other ppl when it really isnt true but sometimes we dont know that...gosh you guys are so judgmental...haven't you ever been a teenager...theres lotz of pressure GOSH

yeah, i know about this...my junior high spreads a lot of rumors, about, even me sometimes..they are mean little devils and just can;t control themselves.

because they are imature, and they like attention. Who cares they will learn one day in life, ...what goes around...comes around. Just don't stoop as low as them and keep spreading it, just go straight to the source yourself.
