I'm vey fair complected. I've gotten in tanning beds befor but I did it very gradually like 5 mins a day for a week and crept up slowly. I did have a tan for my skin but it took forever. I just don't have the time. Do any of the tanning pills work? I already take a ton of melatonin at night to sleep so it will have to be something different. Please help. I need confidence!

I've done the mystic tan several times. It looks good except for around my feet. I use the barrier cream and it still looks bad. I exfoliate and all the right things before the mystic. I hate doing it though. It stinks and I'm scared of rubbing up against something too soon and having a big white spot somewhere. I like the idea of the tanning bed w/ the mystic. I don't want a savage tan. I'd look ridiculous, I just want to look "healthy". I STILL want to know about any tanning pills!!!!

It sounds like everyone is going in the right direction for the spray tan, I would definitely try the mystic tan, the quickest way to get tan but may get a little pricey, let me tell you my "crunch tan" and how I usually do it, I will usually go mystic and a regular tan in the same day, I always get great color from this, you always want to tan first then go to the mystic, if you have a good base which it sounds like you may if you have gone a few times, try one of the nicest beds that they have, it definitely can be pricey as well, but you know what they say, beauty costs... and thats for sure. Like last week I was going to go out so I went in a mystic tan (level 3) and then I went into like the Turbo 650 or sometimes its called the UltraBronze and then to keep it up until the next week I will use Neutrogena Spray and it is totally awesome, I havent had much luck with any of the other ones but this one is truly awesome. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I have tried the tanning spray... and for goodness sakes DO NOT DO IT.
First, you stand in your bathing suit, and a machine sprays you down with the tanning solution. And, before it drys you have to rub rub rub rub it all it.. or it get streaks. Let me tell you, you cannot rub fast enough.
Second, you have to wash it off the bottoms of your feel and hands, or it causing strange dark orange stains. Again, you cannot do if fast enough, and when the streaks and stains start to show, it's all over.
Third, as the tan begins to wear off, you get an embarrassing and horrible splotchy look to you skin. It looks like you have some sort of pigment skin disease. And if you try to "tan" again to stop this... you only make it worse. The white gets tan again, and the tan turns even oranger. It took over 2 weeks for this horrible tan to wear off, and I looked like a fool the whole time!
DO NOT DO THE SPRAY TAN.
As your an alternative. Love your skin as it is. Tanning beds cause wrinkles you'll regret later.

Tanning beds are very damaging to the skin, even worse than the sun. If you want a healthy glow, it would be better to use an at home self tanner or go somewhere to get a spray tan- these options also give you speedy results, you just have to wait for it to dry, which isn't long.

An alternative to tanning beds are tanning sprays. I heard that they actually work better than tanning beds. You get tanned evenly without the harmful rays. It's very popular these days.

Please don't tan. It is so bad for your skin. You'll look leathery and worn out before you know it. Mottled skin and age spots are not attractive. Healthy pale skin can look really pretty. Here is an example. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i17/chicak8/dita-von-teese-21.jpg
Maybe all you need is some quality makeup to brighten up your face or maybe consider adding some color or highlights to your hair. The fake tan stuff usually looks bad. Don't fight nature too hard. Work to enhance what you have.
