I think you'll have to call your caseworker for this one. Good luck.

Call your caseworker right away (which will be a pain in the butt because they are hard to get a hold of!!). Also, there is a program called Mom's and Babies, which is different than Medicaid. It covers pregnancy and delivery, and the child for the first three months. Go to your local public aid office in the morning and apply--you get approved and a temporary card right away--you might even get to keep your appointment tomorrow if you can get to the aid office early enough! Good luck.

Well.... they are a pain in the butt!!! Seriously, the have screwed up on so many appointment with me, you just have to keep at it and always stay on it. It's not easy. You would much rather go through the trouble than have the bills.

Either they made a mistake or they found out you lied somewhere....the only way to be sure is to call the caseworker, they should have sent a letter.

You need to ask them why. You gave us no information on this so all we can do is guess. Call them. I've heard where they give it for a month or 2 to people wail they are waiting for the real paperwork to finish up. Could this be it?

it pobably just lasped. you have to go in every so often and review your application and all of your information. they should have sent you a letter saying when you had to go do all of that. i would just call the office and try to set it back up asap.

MAYBE NOT ALL YOUR PAPERWORK WAS FILLED OUT OR MAYBE YOU DIDNT SEND THEM A PAPER/CHECKSTUB/HOUSEHOLD COMP FORM/EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION/YADA YADA THEY NEEDED.
EVEN WHEN IT GETS REINSTATED, IT WILL STILL BACKPAY 3 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF EFFECTIVENESS

it all depends on why you are on medicaid. it's probably time to be evaluated again.
