I have had my arch supports since October 2006. From daily use, they have developed a smell from my feet sweating. I have tried sprays, hand washing and even putting them through my washer machine. Nothing I do seems to get the smell out.

Well, it sounds like you've done about all I could recommend. Have you tried spraying with Febreze? I find that that works. I wear these too and since the padding wears out so badly and because of the smell I started using Dr. Scholl's inserts just for some cushioning and to preserve the orthotics from wearing out and because they are disposable. You could also try Odor Eaters if you think that might work better for you.
