the reason she said is sugar level as i have been daignosed with gesttational diabities, has anyone had the similar kind of problem??My doc also said most likely she will deliver me in week37 as the baby seems to be big too and the water is too much. if anyone has had the same problem pls help by telling me if things were ok with thr delivery and the baby.i am really worried.

my freind at work had diabetes and her babe is bueatiful she wa 9+ pds but other than that she was healthy she will have to becarefull later on in life because of risk of diabetes in youth etc but she is active happy healthy and is smaller than my daughter so don't worry untill they tell you too

i alos was delivered at 38 weeks for health reasons high bp kidney failure caused by the bp etc and my daughter is great happy healthy and the love of my life GL

My daughter is type 1...She was expose to have her c-section today but they canceled. She has a low platelet count.
Shes had extra fluid for awhile. They will measure it to make sure it doesn't get out of hand. They gave her 2 stress tests a week w/ ultra sounds to measure the fluid.
Her baby at 37 weeks is weighing in at 13.4oz at the last count :0
Just keep asking questions so you can keep track. It will ease your mind. It did mine!!

My cousin had that, as well as many other problems, but she still delievered a beautiful baby girl. Good luck and congrats
