I want to find some good music out there... I love Damien Rice's music and wondering if anyone knew anybody thats music was like his or just good music. My other favorites right now are Dallas Green, Sufjan Stevens, Coldplay and Amos Lee

I love Damien Rice. Let's see... I recommend Alexi Murdoch, Ben Taylor, Brett Dennen, Iron & Wine, Joe Purdy, Joshua Radin, Ray LaMontagne. All availible on iTunes. :-D

m.ward is good. jeff buckley and elliott smith who are both dead are good too (as for bands go you may like dr. dog). and before these guys was leonard cohen, nick drake and john denver. that should help you out --- all of these artists are tremendous, by that i mean each person has created a disc or two or three that CAN and WILL stay in your cd player for a week straight. enjoy

try josh rouse, i love his nashville cd and my friend who loves damien rice and everyone else gave it to me... and try Jeff Buckley.. he's from the 90's, but my friend is CRAZY about him, and he has the same taste...
and listen to Ryan Adams!!! he's the greatest thing EVER..
maybe try snow patrol...
oh, and there's this cool little radio thing on billboard.com where you type in a song/band you like, and they find similar artists and play songs of them... it's really fun..
