Although the easy anwser is somehow YES, "stupid" is not the exact word fitting the situation.
It makes us somehow, "drunk" or something like that.
Love cannot be completely explained with scientific methods, therefore it's not "rational". It lets us do thing that we wouldn't do under normal conditions.
On second thoughts... Yes. It makes us stupid. It made me too :P

Love is a chemical response from you brain. Its just like someone on drugs, someone that likes to eat way too much, or an alcoholic.
So sometimes you brain will do anything to get that feeling back.
