just like real relationships... they can leave ou hurt too and feelings can be misread or basically any other problems a real relationship has.... except that some people can even be more cruel through the internet because they think they can get away with forgetting that person forever easily.

They can be great. In fact, I married a man I met from the internet. Will be 8 years this month and I couldn't be more happy!

If both parties are free to persue a relationship, then I say more power to them.
However, where one or the other person is married/commited elsewhere, I think it's the same as infidelity and look on it with the same amount of contempt.

I see nothing wrong with them. I'm in one now. I would prefer her to be here in person, but that will happen some day soon. And I can't wait.

there are good guys and bad guys online just like in the real world , but they can work out really well once you find someone you can truely connect with that isnt a jerk

some relationships actually work.... and some dont... its a risk to take.... but i know of a few people who met their partners online or over the phone..
